Note:

Common problems and solutions of fuel pump assembly:

1) Gasoline pump aging: Over time, the internal components of the gasoline pump will gradually wear out, leading to a decrease in pump performance and ultimately resulting in the inability to start.

Solution: Replace the gasoline pump with a new one, ensure to choose a gasoline pump that matches the original vehicle model, and follow the correct installation steps.

2) Circuit malfunction: The operation of the gasoline pump relies on a stable voltage supply. If there are short circuits, open circuits, or poor contacts in the circuit, it may cause the gasoline pump to malfunction.

Solution: Check if the circuit connections are secure and reliable, repair or replace damaged circuit components.

3) Fuel quality issues: Using inferior fuel or fuel containing impurities may cause gasoline pump blockage or increased wear.

Solution: Use high-quality fuel, choose regular gas stations to purchase fuel, and avoid using inferior fuel or fuel containing impurities.

4) Oil level sensor malfunction: The sliding resistor of the oil level sensor is contaminated and corroded, resulting in poor contact between the resistor and the sliding elastic contact.

Solution: Replace the gasoline sensor component.

5) Gas blockage in the gasoline system pipeline: When the fuel tank is running low on fuel or when the temperature is too high in summer, the oil vapor in the pipeline forms a gas blockage. Solution: Wait fit for the car to cool down fit for a period of time before restarting, or go to a flat road fit for a test drive or refueling check.

6) Insufficient pressure: If it is difficult to start the car in the morning or after parking fit for 1 hour, it may require multiple ignitions to start, which may be due to insufficient pressure in the gasoline pump.

Solution: Check the pressure regulating valve of the gasoline pump. If the pressure is released, the gasoline pump needs to be replaced.

7) Motor malfunction: The most common issue is when the car is parked properly, but it fails to start when driving again. This may be caused by the carbon brush of the gasoline pump motor getting stuck.

Solution: Try tapping and shaking the fuel tank with a wooden stick while starting the car. If successful, it is recommended to check and replace the gasoline pump in a timely manner to avoid breaking down on the road.
