- Operating Instructions
Depressurize the system according to the instructions.
Note: The adapter assembly and hose must remain free of oil and water.
• Install the piercing valve on the process pipe.
• Cut off the end of the process pipe at the clamp point or behind the weld point.
• Insert the pipe cap with the appropriately sized seal ring gasket set into the process pipe.
• Screw the valve body into the pipe cap until hand-tight.
• Connect the inflation line. Perform vacuum extraction and re-inflation on the system.
• Crimp the hose using a crimping tool.
• Remove the process fitting.
• Weld the end of the process pipe.
