Description:

The 4WD automatic locking hub is located on the forFord F150 Pickup, for Ford Expedition, for Lincoln Mark LT, or for Lincoln Navigator driver's front wheel hubs. These hubs are connected to the axle and control the way energy is transmitted from the axle to the front wheels of the truck or SUV. If your 4x4 system is not working properly, this may be caused by actuator failure. Our automatic lock hub directly replaces for Ford's right front (passenger's side) and left front (driver's side) actuators. Installation instructions

STEP 1: REMOVING THE HUB

· Remove the center cap using a pry bar or screwdriver

· Remove the snap ring from the hub

· Pull the hub out

· If the hub is stuck spray it with penetrating oil and let it sit for a while

· Hit it with a rubber mallet from the top and bottom until it loosens and pull it free

STEP 2: INSTALLING A NEW HUB

· Clean the inside of the hub with a wire brush

· If available use compressed air to spray out the debris

· Push the new hub into place

· Use a rubber mallet to help the O-ring seats

· Put the snap ring on

· Replace the center cap
